Aaron's New Wisdom

I was talking to Aaron a couple days ago and we were talking about going to preschool next year. This is how the conversation went.
M-"You know that next year you will be going to preschool."
A-"I know. I want to go now."
M-"What will I do all by myself? Mommy will miss you so much."
A-"It will be okay Mommy."
M-"I know but Mommy will cry and miss you so much. What will I do?"
A-"You're a big Mommy you will be ole right."
I wondered if he thought that I was an old mommy or that I was just large. Either way I don't really care because I love him. I am so blessed that he is a part of our life and came to us.

Erik Is 18

When Keith and I where just married when Erik was just turning 4. He turned 18 and life is very different. He is such a great young man. He is still the great big brother that he has always been. He has always loved and cared for all of his brothers and sisters. He has 4 sisters and 1 brother from Keith and I. He also has 1 sister and 2 brother from his mom side. He turned 18 and the day after he had his wisdom teeth pulled. He did very well. We had invited him up to the house on Wednesday for dinner since we thought that he would have plans for his birthday, and knew that he was getting his teeth pulled the next day. We had the best dinner with him. He has always loved steak and potatoes so that is what we had. He stayed for a while after dinner and was the jungle gym for the kids. It gave Keith a break from being the gym. We love him and will miss him when he goes to school. The plan for now is that he wants to go to Laramie.

Drumming

I had the pleasure of going to school to see Libby today to watch her 5th grade classes drumming concert. Miss Asay has been teaching the 5th grade to use the African drums. The all did a song together at first, then the classes each did a song alone and some of the kids did solos. They all did a great job. They not only used the drums but also sang along with it. What skills. I can hardly chew gum and walk at the same time. Wow. They all preformed the last songs together. It was great to see our kids learn so many new and fun things. Great job Libby love seeing you do your best.

College Class

It is my first college class and I just want to let everyone know that I have a better grade than Keith. I would not say anything about this but Keith always checks to see who has the higher grade. I just like to rub it in his face. Love ya honey.
