1 Year

We have been in our house one year now. We have had the best year. We have been healthier and warmer. I thought that I would never get over being kicked out of the rental, but what a blessing. I never knew that owning your own home would be so much work. The kids still tell me that they miss our old house and yard. I miss our old yard too, until I mow the yard now and it take about 20 minutes and not 2 hours. I love living in Cowley and the friend that we have here. Everyone that lives here makes our town the greatest place to live and raise your kids. Thanks Everyone.

College Class

Keith and I started this semester taking a college class. We wanted to get better at using our computer programs. We were afraid that our kids would pass us up, and know more about the programs than we do. I already think that they know more now. It is on every Tuesday night from 6:30 to 9:30. It has really been fun. We are getting to spend time together and trying to learn more at the same time. We are both getting A's right now. Kieth checks his grade more than I do, but that is okay with me. We are right now getting all of our work done in class. Its a good thing that we have enough time to do it all in class and ask for the teachers help.

Commandment 11

We have a new commandment in our house. Have you ever heard of the 11th commandment? I had not heard of it in till today. Betsy and Clara ran in the room tonight after school and Clara had asked Betsy to shut the door behind them, so Betsy slammed the door a little hard. I went to the door and opened it and as I opened the door Betsy said sorry momma sorry. I then asked her to please not slam the doors. She then looks at me and said but momma Clara commanded me to do it.
I just love the little things that my kids come up with. How could I be mad at her after that. We have had a good laugh about this all night.

Sick Kids

Having sick kids is no fun. Aaron got sick last week around Wednesday. He was coughing so bad and by Friday I took him into the doctor. He had croop again. He had just had it a month before. They gave him some steroids as they did the last time. I thought that he was on the road to recovery, then he seemed to get worse. They only get worse before they get better right. I keep him home all weekend and in the house, which he hated. On Monday we went out and went to Powell. It made him very tired and made him cough again. On Tuesday morning I woke up to Libby throwing up. I now had them both home sick. Libby stayed home from schoool on Tuesday then she tried to go on Wednesday but only made it intill 9:00. I think that everyone is getting a bit better but knock on wood. I hope to be back out and about in the real world again soon.

Neighbors Howling Dog?

Does your neighbors dogs ever drive you nuts at night or wake you up. I have a good story for you then. You all are wondering, I know what is she talking about. Here it goes. I was in a very deep sleep when all of the sudden I was woke up by a howling dog. How many of you have ever been woken up by someone elses dog? I sat straight up in bed scared to death because I thought that the dog had some how got in our house, and was in my room. As I sat up and looked around, I found that Keith was still asleep. Then all of the sudden there was that awful noise again, only this time I found that it was coming from my sleeping husband. Yes, Keith howling in his sleep at the top of his lungs. As I watched him howl I started to laugh so hard that I had to get up out of bed. When I got out of my bed (the dog house) it woke this snoozing hound up. (It was just like the movie Fox and the hound, when Copper tells Todd that he is a hound dog and then howls as loud as he could.) He was howling that loud. Keith woke up and asked what I was doing and where I was going, and I told him that I was using the bathroom. I then said that I had to go down to get me a drink and asked him if he would like one. He said that he did need a drink and so I asked, did you want it in a bowl or a cup because you were just howling like a hound dog. I then asked if I could also bring him a doggy bone for a snack. I then explained it all to him and we have been having fun ever since then howling and making fun of his night of howling and maybe hunting in his sleep. I did ask him what he was dreaming about and he said that he really has no idea what it was that made him howl. Maybe he is really a werewolf. Ha Ha. We will have many laughs about this one. Sorry honey, but at least i do love dogs.

Aaron's Says

Aaron says some of the funniest things all the time. We were out to the farm loading hay on the trailer for the cows and Keith was teasing him. He kept calling him little names like stud, b man, and others. He finally called him a little stinker cause every time Keith would call him something Aaron would say that's not my name don't call me that. So Aaron thought for awhile after his dad called him a stinker and then finally told his dad. "That is so rude dad, you shouldn't call me that." Keith and I laughed so hard because we didn't know that he knew how to use rude in a sentence let alone that he knew what it rude ment.

Erik is now a senior. It is hard to believe that he was Aarons age when Keith and I got married. This is one of many of his Senior pictures.

Libby's Birthday

It was Libby's day on the 21st. It is hard to get used to the idea that she is now 11 years old. I keep thinking that she was just a baby not long ago. I don't know if I can get over this. We had a great day planned. She wanted pumpkin pie for her cake this year. I made 5 pies for everyone to come and enjoy with her, and they all did. She had her friend Maggie over grandpa and grandma Brimhall, Grandma Great Jolley, Kris and his family, Karen, Bradley and lots of other stragglers along the way. It was fun we had hambugers and all the fixings then pie. I hope that you had a great day Libby, we love you and want you to know what a sweet young lady that you are becoming.

Friday the 13th 1995

This is a picture of the Cardston, Alberta Temple. Keith and I were married 14 years ago in Lovell, by Bishop Jones. We later chose this temple to be sealed in for time and eternity. Libby was just a baby and we got to take her along with us. What a great day. It was September 18, 1998. My grandpa Jolley's Birthday. We were married on my Grandma Workman's Birthday Friday the 13th of January 1995. How time goes by. I love you Keith and all of the good and bad times. I love all the kids that we have and wouldn't change any of them or give any back (maybe once in a while on those bad times).
