Libby's Birthday
It was Libby's day on the 21st. It is hard to get used to the idea that she is now 11 years old. I keep thinking that she was just a baby not long ago. I don't know if I can get over this. We had a great day planned. She wanted pumpkin pie for her cake this year. I made 5 pies for everyone to come and enjoy with her, and they all did. She had her friend Maggie over grandpa and grandma Brimhall, Grandma Great Jolley, Kris and his family, Karen, Bradley and lots of other stragglers along the way. It was fun we had hambugers and all the fixings then pie. I hope that you had a great day Libby, we love you and want you to know what a sweet young lady that you are becoming.

Friday the 13th 1995

This is a picture of the Cardston, Alberta Temple. Keith and I were married 14 years ago in Lovell, by Bishop Jones. We later chose this temple to be sealed in for time and eternity. Libby was just a baby and we got to take her along with us. What a great day. It was September 18, 1998. My grandpa Jolley's Birthday. We were married on my Grandma Workman's Birthday Friday the 13th of January 1995. How time goes by. I love you Keith and all of the good and bad times. I love all the kids that we have and wouldn't change any of them or give any back (maybe once in a while on those bad times).

Pictures
We got family pictures right before Thanksgiving break. It is always fun to get pictures taken. NOT!! We did have a good time even if we had to take pictures. We had everyone there and happy. Can you believe that they were all happy and didn't fight until after we were done. I will be posting other pictures slowly after I get them on my computer. Keep a look out.
The Best Gifts
I went by Simmons and Banks today and saw that you had things up for Christmas. I have to tell you I was not in the mood for Christmas yet this year, and then I went by and it looked so warm and inviting. I brought up some feeling that I have every year around the holiday season. I always have a hard time at Christmas time and holiday's. I don't really have a reason other than I can't stand to spend money just to see how much you can buy someones love. How much that you can buy for your family members. I love to get presents and gifts, but why does it have to seem that it is that we try to over give on Christmas. I feel that way at least. I have always felt that Christmas is a waste of money. I'm not saying this to sound mean or to have anyone hate me because I feel this way. It is just that people in general seem to forget that it is something more than just buying presents. I am not saying that I am the perfect example about it being about Christ. I'm not in the least perfect. I like to feel that I am working on that with my kids so that they understand that it is not all about how much things cost and what you get. After seeing people with there pretty decorations up I decided that I would try to change this year and not be so hateful at Christmas time. My family usually gets the worst of me at this time of year. I thought that maybe if I just went home and got stuff out and started to enjoy this with my kids and family and not worry about the money of it all, that maybe I won't pass on the hate of Christmas to my kids. I usually don't get my Christmas stuff out until December 15th or later. Then if you know me you know that right after we open presents on Christmas morning I take everything down. The sooner to get over the holiday's the better. So this year, after seeing decorations up and Aaron being so excited I decided to make a change. I went straight home and Aaron and I got out some of the Christmas stuff. The other kids came home from school and saw that I had got out the Christmas stuff and were way to excited to help. It was so great to see that just a simple getting stuff out and putting it up made my kids so happy. I want to thank all of you that show so much joy and spirit for the holiday's a great big way to go. Thank you for being such great examples even when you don't realize that you are. Seeing yours and other peoples houses made me think that my kids are the only ones missing out on all the Christmas stuff and I am just hurting my kids for me not liking the holiday's. I am trying to get through my funk, and to try to show some Christmas spirit. If you go by my house and not see everything up yet it is called baby steps. Happy Holiday's to everyone and Merry Christmas. TO ME THE BEST GIFT IS THE ONES THAT ARE FROM THE HEART AND HOMEMADE !!!!

Thanksgiving with the Jolley's
We thought that since this year my brother and his family lived in Sidney, Montana that we would spend it with them. On Wednesday we loaded the van after the kids got out of school at noon. Keith's sister had came from Laramie for Thanksgiving to spend it with her dad, so we saw her and her son for about an hour then left. It is always fun to take the kids on a trip. We hear we are bored, she is touching me, or my favorite I have to go the bathroom. Riding with 5 girls you would think that it is one of them, but no it is are little boy Aaron that is 3. We got to Sidney about 8:00 and then the kids want to play with their cousins not go to bed. We got them all settles down about 11:00 and at least in the places where they were going to be sleeping.
We wake up early on Thursday morning because Gary (my brother) gets a call that he needs to go to work. Well Keith took the time off from his work and went there and was put to work by my brother. My brother owns his own company so he is on call 24 hours a day. They both worked and Kate and I made dinner for us and the kids. We were just getting ready to eat then they called and said that they would be home in a little bit. We waited for them and had a great Thanksgiving dinner with them and some of my brothers employees. We had a great day. Keith and Gary had to work again the next day so Kate and I went to Williston, ND to shop for black friday. On Saturday we took all of the kids bowling and then went back to the house to relax. We are leaving to come home tomorrow and the kids can't wait to get home. Keith and I are ready to be back to but are not looking forward to the ride with the kids. If any of you have good ideas about traveling with kids I would love to hear what works for you.

November 8th Clara's Birthday
Clara had a great birthday. She had her family over for the night to have birthday cake. She was able to go to Billings with Mom and Dad. She got spoiled rotten and was able to chose where we went out to eat.
Halloween at the Brimhalls
It has been a long time since I have posted anything. I hope that everyone is doing well. We are all doing great. We had a awesome Halloween with the kids. It was about five minutes before we walked out the door and Aaron had planned on being spider man. He got up and went in his room and pulled out another costume from last year and became a skeleton. What fun kids are. I will have to post some pictures when I get them on my computer. We always have Keith's sister Karen come down Powell. She hasn't missed a year since Libby was a baby. We love you aunt Karen.
